The concept for the design was born from the graphic re-elaboration of the historical image representing the shape of the Iseo Lake. The design captures the power and anticipation that accompanies the uncorking of a Reserve bottle of sparkling wine. The tiny bubbles, mixing in the jet of the sparkling wine, create an expectation and emotion that awakens a desire to open the bottle.
What sets this design apart is its elegant balance of graphics and colors, combined with a modern font, Anorak. The font integrates seamlessly with the original elements of the label, yet stands distinct. A daring solution was employed using transparent polypropylene to evoke new sensations. The label is entirely hot foil gold printed, enhancing the elegance of the product.
The design doesn't stop at the label. The powerful pouring out of the sparkling wine is echoed on the box, where the graphics wrap around the packaging. This project won the prestigious Award The Mosnel “Questione d’Etichetta”, promoted by the historic winery in Franciacorta in partnership with ADI.
The design of the Il Mosnel QdE 2012 is more than just a label and pack for sparkling wine. It's a sensory experience that begins with the anticipation of opening the bottle and continues through to the pouring and tasting. The design elements, from the graphics to the colors to the font, all contribute to this experience.
